Hudiefly Takes Flight

Hudiefly takes Flight-DC fashion week debut of “the Hudiefly woman-free, bold and elegant” Spring 2014 Collection

Last weekend marked an important milestone for hudiefly, as we debuted our spring 2014 spring line as the opening collection for DC fashion Week's emerging designer showcase.
This collection is the debut ready to wear collection designed using the Utopiat Hudiefly platform where Jasmine’s vision was interpreted by several DC based indie designers with the ultra talented Cathie Gayer-Roubie as the lead designer. Inspiration for the collection comes from Hudiefly’s vision of creating fashion for the woman who is not defined within any particular set of sensibilities but rather reflects the multitude of a modern day woman. The collection draws from bohemian, urban and classic styles, using romantic fabrics like chiffon and tulle to reflect the whimsical aspect of the free spirited woman. Our urban collection includes a lot of bold graphic tees and tanks that is our signature line, all with original artwork done by our collaborating artists, to embody the bold strength of a modern day heroine, and finally our elegant pieces celebrates the timelessness and elegance that is the Hudiefly woman.

As hudiefly spreads its wings, we celebrate milestones like these with all of our team members and collaborators who work endlessly each and every day, and of course our customers and supporters whose validation of our vision drives us through the challenges of running a true start up with nothing but a dream and vision.

Up next for hudiefly: the launch of our first official Artist Collaboration Graphics Series with a Japanese anime/manga theme as well as our first Cultural Fusion Collection with India Love!

Stay tuned!

xoxo
